The great artist M. F. Hussain who is also known as Picasso of India studied at Indore Art College before moving to Bombay. Devlalikar Kala vithika is been used for display of art works of M. F. Hussain and other renowned artists. Gaining its importance through years it is a place for national and international artists to display their art works. Now the municipal corporation is going to develop a cultural center and a fine art college under smart city mission, Indore.
